Brella finds out shocking news: she's an idiot.



Limelight is a parody of Twilight and other vampire pop culture icons. It follows the story of Brella Swallow, who rents a room in a mansion in the town of Sporks with her werewolf hunter mother. She falls in love with a teenage vampire named Egg McMuffin, who is hesitant to express his true affection at first but eventually reciprocates Brella's romantic advances. After he saves her life, Egg reveals his true sparkly self to her in the light of lime trees (i.e. limelight). She soon encounters JC, a Native American werewolf Mormon. Her werewolf hunting mother is acquainted with him but knows nothing of his lycanthropy. Despite her budding friendship with JC, she feels a closer connection to Egg after he paints her portrait.
